In the spirit of Halloween, Cinderella and her little mouse came out to play! I love these two kids and their awesome parents. Another family to be thankful for every day. And so thankful to know such adorable faces to use in my pictures! Sometimes it’s okay to bribe with jelly beans if you get an energetic almost-3-year-old to sit still for a few minutes! 🙂
This little lady is one of Remy’s best buds, and her mama is one of mine! We’re so lucky to have this family in our lives. I know one day they will truly be best friends and I can’t wait to watch them grow up together. We went to Onondaga Lake Park the last few hours of daylight and even got the sunset in a couple photos. It was beautiful! And no better way to end the night than hot dogs at Heid’s across the street afterwards! Look at this face!
I knew I wanted to get some fall pictures of my little man, but it was also the perfect time to capture this moment in time before he is officially a toddler. I knew this year would fly by, but that is an understatement – gone in the blink of an eye! Being a mother… it takes patience (unlike any I’ve ever needed), composure, and compromise, all things I try to be better at every day. But the love I have for this boy comes totally natural. I know he will always be my baby! Cheers to the amazing first year we have had with this sweet face!
Derek spotted the “fish” on the ground right before we left. Hope the fishy brings us good luck for Remy’s 2nd year!
I hadn’t seen a boy this handsome since my own little man! I knew Liam’s mama in high school and hadn’t seen her in 10 years or more, but now it will be nice to get our boys together sometime! They are a little over 2 weeks apart. We took these pictures at Onondaga Lake Park. I knew the lighting would be beautiful at this time of day, but it was still a challenge for me and I can’t wait to try it out again at some point.
Thank you guys!!
So lucky to have great friends who let me practice on their beautiful little people! Marcellus Park is gorgeous, and it was a perfect cool day for photos. Addison made up her mind from the very start that she didn’t like this camera business! I had a bunch of photos like this one – where she used the ol’ “I’m going to sit here and play with rocks, nothin’ you can do about it” tactic. 😉 Love this photo all the same:
Then we let her wander and ended up on the swing set and see-saw. That did the trick! She warmed right up and let her goofy, lovable self shine! We had a blast.
We got mom in on the fun too!
As my little guy gets older I am enjoying being able to do more with him. We have had a rough week or so filled with teething and growing so it was crucial for both of us to get out of the house today. We went for a walk and later on visited the park – he is old enough now where he is becoming more independent at places like this, which is exciting for him!
Apparently he’s even learned how to drive a car. 😉
I couldn’t have had a better first family to photograph! These four are some of my favorite people who I met through my job as a Speech Therapist. It was suggested that we go to Mexico Point Park to take pictures, and I’m so glad we did! They had a cool bridge, lots of open grass, and a small beach where we spent some time. I was lucky to have a family who was incredibly patient with me while I am still learning. Thank you so much for this opportunity!
